SEAN TAYLOR TO RECEIVE NO JUSTICE

Once again I would like to thank our justice system for another abhorrently bad decision. Thank you for adding strength to my argument that most of the time you’re better off being the criminal than the victim. Whether you’re a public figure with the financial wears to buy you’re way out of justice, someone from a low economic neighborhood in a particular ethnicity group. Maybe you’re a child molester, rapist or murderer who doesn’t deserve to breathe the same air we do but yet have a justice system that will give them multiple chances to hurt or harm someone else.

Prosecutors said Monday they will not seek the death penalty against the four people who killed Taylor because the accused shooter was under the age of 18 when the crime was committed.

The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that people cannot be executed for crimes committed when they’re under 18, and it’s a well established legal principle that others involved in the same case as a minor cannot face the ultimate penalty if they are less directly responsible.

Assistant State Attorney Reid Rubin filed notice Friday that the death penalty will be waived. That means the four suspects could get a maximum of life in prison if convicted of first-degree murder after a trial scheduled to begin Aug. 25.

I would have liked to see all five of these punks receive the death penalty and have them taken out of the picture with the quickness. The fact that this worthless animal named Garcia Jr. was the person who actually shot Taylor should not exclude the four other pieces of scum from ultimate justice. To take a person’s life because of greed and ignorance is absolutely disgusting.

Now some might equate this hatred and anger I have towards these punks to the fact that a beloved football player for my favorite NFL team was the victim. People say all the time that every American deserves a second chance. That these types of crimes happened on a far too regular basis, and this is a high profile crime that captured the sports world attention.

That is true but my opinion in dealing with these types of crimes has not wavered because of who the victim was. Anyone who would be something like this, regardless of age, race, religion, environment or circumstances should face the ultimate penalty.

I’m hoping someone will be waiting for these pieces of human feces and are willing to make their existence so inhuman they would consider doing society a favor and take their own lives. That is the only true justice they have left.
